About Mohammad Huq

Mohammad Nazmul Huq (MNH) is currently teaching in the Department of Business Administration of Stamford University Bangladesh. He is also working as a Coordinator in the Department of Business Administration. Mr. Huq worked as Head of Marketing Section for three (03) years. He also played the role of an Assistant Superintendent of Examination where smooth conduction of the MBA program was basic responsibility. He was also a convener of Freshmen Orientation and Editor of the “Marketing Mind” newsletter, a publication of Stamford University Bangladesh.

His research paper has been published in the Business Journal of Dhaka University, Rajshahi University, and as well as in Stamford University Bangladesh.

  • Importance-Performance Analysis of Internet Users in Dhaka City has been published in Vol. 2, 3, 4 & 5, No. 1, December 2012 issue of the Bangladesh Journal of MIS, University of Dhaka.
  • Student’s perception Towards the University Web Sites: An Empirical Evidence from Public University in Bangladesh has been published in Vol. 5, No. 2, December 2013 issue of the Journal of Business Studies, Stamford University Bangladesh.
  • Understanding the Demography, Use, and Motivation for Social Networking Site (SNS)- A Case Study on Facebook in Bangladesh has been published in Vol. 5, No. 1, December 2014 issue of the Journal of Business Studies, Stamford University Bangladesh.
  • Customer-Based Brand Equity: A Study on Bangladeshi Brands has been published in Vol. 7, Issue II, December 2016, issue of the Journal of Business Studies, Stamford University Bangladesh.
  • Marketing Force Automation and Usage in Electronics Industry: An Analysis on Walton BD” has been published in the International Journal of Research and Innovation in Social Science (IJRISS) volume-5-issue-11, pp.142-155 November 2021

After passing SSC and HSC in 1994 and 1996 respectively Mr. Huq completed his Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) from Bangalore University, India, Major in International Marketing. After completing BBM, he worked for different corporate groups. After finishing his MBA, with a major in Marketing, from Stamford University he joined the same University. He is taking different courses like Brand Management, Service Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Marketing Management, Marketing Research, Organizational Behavior, Business Communication, Micro Economics, Business Statistics, Advance Quantitative Methods & Techniques, etc. both in MBA and BBA Program. He has gone through several training for developing his teaching skill, like under Oracle Consultants Group of Mumbai, India, and others. During his last more than nineteen years of a teaching career at the University level, he has supervised more than 500 students in completing their Internship reports. A piece of sound knowledge in Statistics and SPSS (statistical software) has enriched different reports. Excellent presentation skills and analytical ability will help him to move forward In Sha Allah.
